Renee currently serves as the Law Enforcement Training Supervisor at one of Virginia’s 10 certified regional criminal justice training academies. Renee is a certified instructor with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. Her formal continuing education is in Administration of Justice and Behavioral Science. Renee, along with Major John H. Collier, are co-founders of VA Law Enforcement Critical Incident Stress Management, based at Central Shenandoah Criminal Justice Training Academy in Weyers Cave, Virginia. They provide training for law enforcement personnel nationwide in basic CISM and advanced Peer Support coursework. The National Police Suicide Foundation's PSA program is inclusive of VA LE CISM advanced curriculum.
